Her scientific contributions are evidenced by several peer-reviewed publications up to 2021, covering topics such as dental pulp stem cell differentiation, the safety of allogeneic umbilical cord MSCs, the effect of diabetic serum on MSC-derived secretome, stem cell regulatory standards in Indonesia, and the therapeutic potential of MSCs and their secretome in COVID-19.

In addition to actively participating in international stem cell congresses, Cynthia R. Sartika frequently serves as a speaker at scientific seminars in Indonesia. Between 2020 and 2021, she delivered presentations on MSC-derived extracellular vesicles, advanced MSC therapies, regulatory preparedness, and current perspectives on MSC-EVs at various national and international forums.

She is also highly active in professional organizations. Appointed by the Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia she contributed to the development of national standards for umbilical cord blood stem cell processing and storage. She is a member ISSCR and ISCTserves as Secretary General of the Indonesian Association of Atherosclerosis and Vascular Diseasesand holds leadership roles in multiple national stem cell organizations. Since 2021, she has served as a member and director of Commission III of the Stem Cell Development and Tissue Engineering Committee under the Ministry of Health, and she is also active at the regional level through the Asian Cellular Therapy Organization (ACTO)” Commission III of the Stem Cell Development and Tissue Engineering Committee under the Ministry of Health, and she is also active at the regional level through Asian Cellular Therapy Organization (ACTO).
